23 July 1915 (DE) - A final notice for building contractors to tender for the new Garage at the old Metropole Hotel for Dover Motor Co

March 1915 (DE) - an auction for the contents of the Metropole Hotels rooms, as Dover Motor Company Ltd are to convert the hotel into a Garage and Workshops.

21 September 1917 (DE) - A petition was presented to Canterbury Court of September 10th, by Messers Charles Mackintosh and Co, Ltd, creditors for the winding up of the Dover Motor Co Ltd. The petition will be heard at the same court on October 9th, at 11pm.

1919 - Dover Motor Co Ltd are advertising
- The Victory Ball Town Hall April 2nd 1919 - The Dover Motor Co Ltd, Are prepared to convey passengers home between the hours of 12 midnight and 3.30 a.m., Book Early, Antwerp garage, castle street. C. Wraith Secretary

21 November 1919 (DE) - Another Cinema - The Town Clerk reported that Mr P Wraith had given notice of intention to construct a cinema at the Metropole Garage.
9 July 1920 (DE) - Very large room to let; 100ft by 20ft; just been re-decorated; good conveniences, suitable for parting off if required, second floor Metropole buildings, Cannon St, Dover - Apply Dover Motor Co, 54 Castle Street

29 July 1921 - Mr P. G. Wraith Wishes to state that he is not now one of the principals of the Dover Motor Co Ltd, he having sold his share holding to Lieut H. U. Hooper, and now only remains a large Debenture holder. P. G. Wraith.

1921 - Mr Wraith leaves

20 April 1923 (DE) - Francis Ernest Sheridan and Jack Tyson - Beg to inform the pubic that they have purchased the Motor & Hire Car Business of the Dover Motor Company Limited, and will in the future trade as "Dover Autocar Company"

20 April 1923 - It is announced that Messers, Sheridan and Tyson have purchased the Motor business carried on by the Dover Motor Company (now in liquidation) at 54 Castle Street, and at Antwerp Garage (next to Flashman and Co). They are trading under the name of "Dover Autocar Company."
