This area of Dodd's Lane has a somewhat confused history, and in some ways can be split into three sections, I have marked them A, B C on this 1968 map.
However just to confuse things!
A may be split in two, with upper part of it accessed through B
B may have been combined with C

1993 - PL Kent applied for lawful development certificate for use as a Car Breakers NB in the application it was said that the breakers yard had been in existence from 1965 or 1975s!
At the end of Dodds lane, where the flats are now.
I thought I could remember this being used by Ayers coaches ..... however that may be incorrect and it may have been the coal merchant.
